Birthday Blossom: Cherry Cream Cake
Today's delicious dessert features the seasonal fruit cherry paired with the classic favorite, cream: Cherry cream cake. Summer is just around the corner, and the race for fitness has begun. But we can't skip out on sweets! I have a great idea to cool off and satisfy that sweet craving. How about making a cherry cream cake? It's light and bursting with cherry flavor. Plus, it's super easy to prepare. I think we deserve this little indulgence. Let’s whip it up!
Ingredients
1 kg cherries
1 package of petit beurre biscuits
100 g margarine
3 packages of cream
5 packets of stabilizer
2 packets of sour cream
¼ cup sugar
Instructions
Crush the biscuits in a food processor and mix with the melted margarine in a pot. Spread the dough-like mixture in a baking dish. In a separate bowl, whip the cream and stabilizer together, and in another bowl, whip the sour cream and sugar. First, spread the cream mixture over the dough. Then, arrange the cherries on top and spread the sour cream and sugar mixture over the cherries. (Don’t forget to remove the cherry pits!) Place your cake in the fridge. After letting it chill for a day, it’s ready to serve. You can also drizzle some sweet sauce on top if you like.
For the sweet sauce, blend the pitted cherries. Add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Cook this mixture in a pot until it thickens. Once cooled, pour it over the cake.
