Zendaya's Effortlessly Flawless Makeup
Zendaya stars as the Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena, in Christopher Nolan's latest film, "The Odyssey." At the film's red carpet premieres in various cities, she showcased a white-themed Athena aesthetic. Her appearance at the New York gala particularly reflected the recent trend of makeup that looks almost non-existent. Let's take a closer look at this trend that celebrities are slowly embracing.
Zendaya collaborates with makeup artist Ernesto Casillas, who shares that they always aim for a beautiful complexion, a super bronzer, and a luminous, sculpted finish for her signature look. However, for the galas of "The Odyssey," they opted for a more playful approach, especially at the New York stop.
At the New York premiere, Casillas and Zendaya chose to go against the grain by skipping eye makeup altogether. Instead, they created a neutral look with a skin-toned dress and feathery accents. This look was completed with minimal makeup, giving the impression of having just flown close to the sun, kissed by its rays. By embracing the effortless no-makeup trend (think ghostly lashes), they achieved a beautifully natural appearance.

No makeup was applied to Zendaya's eyes, but a youthful flush and glow were added to her cheeks and lips.
He started with Prada Beauty Balm, then mixed Prada Beauty Augmented Skin Essence with foundation for a light coverage.
To give her cheeks a sun-kissed hue, he applied two shades of Prada Beauty's Touch Blush: a warm mocha brown called Caffe on her cheeks, nose, and forehead, and a true red called Cherry on her cheekbones.
To add a bit more life to her lips, he finished with a pink lip gloss.
As for Zendaya's romantic braided hair, it was crafted by hairstylist Coree Moreno, who created a loose, messy, long braid that looks as if it has been tousled by a Mediterranean breeze.
