Common Traits of Food Lovers
Who doesn’t love food? It’s true, but some people love it a little more. In fact, you can’t distract them with just cheese and bread. Here are some funny situations that food lovers know all too well:
- The aroma of food is like perfume to them. Even when they’re not hungry, they can’t resist the scent wafting from a restaurant and will head inside. The smell of fresh bread from the oven is their ultimate weakness. This is why they see waiting in line for Ramadan bread as a social event.
- At a friend’s gathering, they eagerly await their turn to be served. The sounds of plates and cutlery from the kitchen are far more interesting than the juiciest gossip or the sweetest songs.
- In any place, they must taste the food on other plates, and they can’t help but wonder what’s on their neighbor’s plate. Asking the waiter, “Can you bring me what that table is having?” and examining other people’s dishes is a food lover’s top priority.

- They never want to feel full. That’s all I have to say.
- They watch food videos like they’re TED Talks, getting lost in the scene where the fork cuts into the food at the end, trying to recreate the dishes at home, and if that fails, they order takeout. They won’t end the day without enjoying something delicious.
- Telling a food lover, “I discovered an amazing restaurant, shall we go?” is often more effective than giving flowers, sending heart emojis, liking their photos, or complimenting their looks. My relationship wrap: pistachio kebab.

- The refrigerator is like the treasure chest of the home. It’s filled with essentials for emergencies, treats for joyful moments, items no one wants to share, and things they can’t admit have gone bad.
- They know the importance of healthy eating, but their stomachs are always demanding sacrifices, so they can’t resist indulging in unhealthy treats from time to time. However, they’ve never gone as far as eating pasta in a sandwich or wrapping chips in lahmacun.
- It’s also likely that a food lover enjoys grocery shopping. After all, it’s where food is born and baskets are filled. They often make a serious haul, opening packages and tasting items before even reaching the checkout.

- Just because they love food doesn’t mean they fill their stomachs with junk. Eating is a pleasure that requires care, and they believe in enjoying quality food. Plus, love takes effort.
- Their least favorite things: Realizing there’s nothing sweet at home when they crave dessert, being asked if they’ve gained weight, the disappointments that come from opening and closing the fridge, the reality that one piece of chocolate will take half an hour to melt on a bike ride, and the mystery of what’s in the ice cream container.
- They eagerly await sleep and the next day because breakfast awaits them in the morning.
- Because they love food so much, they also love taking photos of it and sharing them. For them, there’s nothing more aesthetic, exciting, or worthy of admiration. But of course, they love to eat the very things they photograph as soon as the shoot is over.
